Vincent Viñas

Vincent Viñas has been writing short screenplays since the age of sixteen. After over two years of co-writing and co-directing a comedy/sketch cable access show, he began to focus more on feature length scripts. Since then, he has placed in numerous screenplay contests with his writing partner, Brian W. Smith, including the Top 30 of Miramax sponsored Project Greenlight. Most recently, Vincent won first place in Agony Production’s Second Short Screenplay Competition with his short, Opportunity Mutiny. Vincent is proud to have directed his script into a short film for Agony Productions and continues to write constantly in collaboration and on his own. In addition to his writing, Vincent has also read material for Troma Entertainment and Cary Granat’s Walden Media. He is based in Manhattan.
