In 2000, Gigi received a Fulbright Memorial Scholarship for her work in Creative Theatre Teaching techniques, and spent time in Japan working with traditional Japanese Theatre companies and innovative children's theatre programs. In addition, Gigi has received numerous government grants and state funding for her programs that promote young student success through performances and examinations of Shakespeare's' works.

Her performing credits include Mary Jane Moore in Assassins, Ella in Bells Are Ringing, Rosemary in How To Succeed..., Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, Snoopy in Snoopy and Hermia in A Midsummer Night's Dream. She has directed Baby, The Miss Firecracker Contest, Murder By the Book, and many cabaret reviews and murder mystery/dinner theatre performances.

Presently, Gigi enjoys her "9-5" job working in the fashion industry and is collaborating with her cabaret partner, Matthew George, on developing a musical cabaret extravaganza, Secretions and Stitches, which chronicles the life and times of a washed-up diva from Tulsa. She is excited to be in NYC and looks forward to many unforgettable theatrical moments here in the Big Apple.
