WRITERS IN AGONY WORKSHOP DETAILS
Agony Productions believes that having a working knowledge of all aspects
of film and stage production will contribute to successful, well-rounded
writers. Knowing how actors work to create characters and how directors work
to create a unified visual concept will allow writers to create more solid
plays and screenplays.
You say you can't attend every workshop? That's OK! Attendance at every
workshop is by no means mandatory. Below you will find a listing of the
workshops that are being offered. You are free to attend only those that
interest you. The first half of each workshop will be a discussion of the
topics of the day. The second half will focus on implementing those ideas
into the short scripts.
If you are interested in attending only one, or better yet, all of the
workshop, please fill out the Pre-Registration Form and email to
events@agonyproductions.com.
Cost for pre-registered attendees will be $5 per
workshop, to be paid at the door. Cost for non-registered attendees who show
up at the workshops will be $7. Cost requirements are based on projected
attendance, and are subject to change if registration is low. If you don't
know yet which workshops you can attend, don't worry! You do NOT have to sign
up for all of them now! The Pre-Registration Form will be resent before every
workshop.
The deadline for pre-registering for each workshop is one day preceding the
session. Pre-Registration Forms must be received by email. You will be sent a
confirmation notice upon receipt of your pre-registration. If you have any
questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at
events@agonyproductions.com.
Thank you for your interest in the Writers in Agony Workshop Series! We hope to see you there!
