MARGO BROOKE PELLMAR
JO

Margo Brooke Pellmar (Jo) studied acting at Circle in
the Square Theatre School, Sarah Lawrence College, and with the
British Academy of Dramatic Arts in Oxford. It was at Circle in the
Square where she met Tamar and Solomon and they brought along Omer.
This play came together after Margo met Christopher at an audition
in 2008. They wanted to collaborate and are excited to do so with
Four Quarters. When Margo is not acting, she is singing,
teaching at the Spence School, working with MacGuffin Films,
finishing a degree at Sarah Lawrence College, and loving her
friends and family. Check out Margo HERE!.
FOUR QUARTERS Actor Questionnaire
Where are you from?
Ocean Township, New Jersey
How did you get involved in Four Quarters?
I auditioned for Chris about three years ago...he wrote me an
email explaining that he had another project in mind...I would
just have to find the cast and he would have to find the venue.
Somehow...both of those things happened with little to get in the
way.
How would you summarize Four Quarters?
Its a love story about chance and timing and defeat and
struggle...and that's just the love between you and you...then
when somebody new is added...you get this play.
Which character do you play?
Jo
Describe your character
Jo is the mind, where Joe is the soul. Once Jo can let
her mind go, her thoughts can be invested on somebody else.
Why should people come to see this show?
This is a touching show and we take off our clothes...
What do you think the audience will take away from this show?
They might fall in love a bit more deeply with themselves.
What’s different about this show than others?
Its open to a discussion. Its thoughtful. The gender play is
seamless.
